For safety reasons, babies who sleep on their stomachs during their first 12 months should not sleep on anything soft. This can be dangerous. Icelandic Sheepskin Features
This Icelandic Baby-Care liner is made from carefully selected Icelandic sheepskins. Icelandic sheep are known for their distinctive long wool and exceptionally strong insulating properties. For this Baby-Care version, the fleece is specially sheared short so that the soft underwool can be used to its full potential.
The most striking feature of this version is its supple leather side. This allows the liner to easily conform to the contours of the car seat or Maxi-Cosi and feel almost like a soft wool blanket. This provides extra comfort during short rides and long journeys.
The wool fibers act as a natural thermostat and help keep your baby’s body temperature stable. On warm days, the fibers wick away heat and moisture, while on cold days they retain warmth. This keeps your baby comfortable in every season.

Our wool consists of a pile of 100% wool fibers. The natural wool gives it a soft, warm, authentic look.
We work with soft, warm wool in three different types. Felted, also known as fulled wool, is a soft, compact, natural wool fabric that feels wonderfully warm. Thumbled has a full, woolly, cuddly-soft texture. Our Teddy wool is also soft and woolly, but has more flexibility and stretch, making the fabric feel extra flexible and comfortable.
