This special sheepskin comes from European sheep and is processed entirely within the EU according to strict quality and environmental standards. Thanks to the natural wool, the sheepskin feels wonderfully soft against sensitive baby skin.
What makes this sheepskin unique is its entirely plant-based tanning method using raw Mimosa tannin. This allows the sheepskin to retain its natural appearance and gives it a beautiful honey-cream colour. The leather side has a subtle rose tint that is characteristic of this natural tanning method. Wool's breathable and temperature-regulating properties help your baby stay comfortable in every season. Warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer.

Safety Information
Tummy sleepers... please take note!
For safety reasons, babies who sleep on their stomachs during their first 12 months should not sleep on anything soft. This can be dangerous. We therefore recommend using the Woolskins sheepskin responsibly. Always pay close attention when your baby is lying or sleeping on their stomach and make sure your baby remains supervised.

Mimosa Natural Sheepskin Features
The Mimosa Natural Baby-Care Sheepskin stands out thanks to its entirely plant-based tanning process. Only raw Mimosa tannin is used for this sheepskin, a natural tanning agent extracted from the bark of the mimosa tree.
Because the sheepskins are not bleached or dyed beforehand, the wool's original pigmentation is preserved as much as possible. This creates a warm honey-cream colour that perfectly complements a natural and sustainable lifestyle. During the tanning process, the leather side takes on a subtle rosy tint that is sometimes slightly speckled, a characteristic of authentic Mimosa tanning.
Like all our Baby-Care sheepskins, this version has a soft and compact wool structure. The natural wool fibres are breathable and help regulate moisture and temperature naturally. This keeps your baby comfortable, dry and relaxed during rest and play.

The Mimosa Natural Sheepskin is not machine-washable and is not suitable for tumble drying.
For an optimal lifespan, we recommend:
- Air outdoors regularly
- Brush gently with a care brush
- Clean small stains locally
- Keep dry and protect from prolonged exposure to moisture

Our wool consists of a pile of 100% wool fibers. The natural wool gives it a soft, warm, authentic look.
We work with soft, warm wool in three different types. Felted, also known as fulled wool, is a soft, compact, natural wool fabric that feels wonderfully warm. Thumbled has a full, woolly, cuddly-soft texture. Our Teddy wool is also soft and woolly, but has more flexibility and stretch, making the fabric feel extra flexible and comfortable.
